The world’s largest ultra-processed food and chemical corporations have long histories of hiding the harm of their products. Since their records do not inspire trust, these companies rely on front groups, public relations agencies, industry-friendly academics, scientific-sounding groups, paid journalists, and other third-party allies to deny science, promote their products, and fend off public health safeguards. U.S. Right to Know investigates and reports on these hidden industry collaborations. We produce and regularly update fact sheets that reveal these hidden industry connections to front groups, professors, journalists, and regulators who work with companies to promote and defend pesticides, ultra-processed foods, GMOs, toxic chemicals in consumer products, and other chemicals of concern.
