U.S. Right to Know is investigating neonicotinoids, a class of systemic insecticides tied to bee deaths. We have obtained many industry and academic documents that reveal new details about how pesticide companies shape bee research agendas and manage public perceptions to deflect attention away from neonicotinoids as a driver of the bee crisis.

Some neonicotinoids are banned in the Europe Union due to a “confirmed” risk to bees, but the chemicals are still widely used in the U.S.
