Hundreds of synthetic toxic chemicals are found in our blood, our urine, our breastmilk, and even in the bodies of newborn infants. These include traces of pesticides, food additives, artificial sweeteners, pollutants from industrial processes, and toxicants used in plastics, household items, and products we put on our bodies.
In most of the world, there are few restrictions on toxic chemicals that are found in our food and consumer products. U.S. Right to Know is producing science-based fact sheets documenting the health risks of these chemicals of concern, including cancer and other serious illnesses. We update these fact sheets regularly.
