Our reporting is free to republish, in print or online, under the license above. Two things are required.

1. Credit our newsroom. Run this line at the top of the story: This story was originally published by U.S. Right to Know, a nonprofit newsroom and public health research group.
2. Point back to the original. If your CMS sets canonical metadata, use our URL so search engines credit the original reporting. The tag is supplied below.

Further guidelines

• Editing. Rewrite the headline and standfirst to suit your style if you need to. Leave the body copy and its links intact. Cuts for length, or any substantive change, need our sign-off before you publish.
• Photographs are not included. We license most article images from third parties and cannot pass those rights on, so the HTML below has them removed.
• Charts and graphics. Anything produced in-house can usually be cleared for reuse. Ask us first.
• Social posts. Tag @USRightToKnow when you share the story.
• Fundraising. Do not state or imply that donations to your organisation support our work.
• Resale and syndication. You may not sell, sublicense or syndicate our work, or push it to aggregators such as Apple News and Google News.
• No bulk reuse. Choose stories individually. Do not scrape our feed or republish automatically.
